Abstract

A high correlation is founds between the author's interpretation of lesions and police and expert reports. Indications for internal and external autopsy are discussed. Lesions in pedestrians hit by a car are divided into impact lesions of first and second degree. Typical overrunning lesions are discussed. Imprudence and drunkenness of the victim himself as well as external factors are the main causes of the fatal road accidents.
