Abstract

The paper reviews the presentations on the social aspects of transport that took place at a CODATU Regional Seminar in Pretoria during July 2001. The intention is to highlight some of the more critical issues as a foundation for the discussions on this topic due to take place in Lome at the CODATU X Conference. This debate is expected to provide the basis of a future work programme by members of the Technical Committee on the Social Aspects of Transport. For the covering abstract see ITRD E116619.
