Abstract

This report presents an analysis of several functions wherein reflective license plates were believed to offer cost effective societal benefits. Discussion is offered to assess the role of reflective license plates in promoting driver comfort and psychological well being in traffic situations where no accident occurs. Furthermore, the authors identify several current and forecasted areas in law enforcement and judicial practice where reflective license plates serve constructive ends.
