Abstract

Statistical data of fatalities in 5 provinces in Canada during 1973 are presented. After an introduction, and the aggregate picture (to provide answers to three questions: who dies/who is tested for alcohol involvement/who is impaired), inter/intro-provincial comparisons are made. Inter-provincial data, the collisions are made. Inter-provincial data, the collision type, B.A.C. characteristics and distributions, and passenger and pedestrian fatalities are analyzed.
