Abstract

A general report on analytical methods for alcohol and drugs with the main focus on principal and practical application of breath alcohol analysis is presented. Results from the workshops seem to be that non invasive sampling techniques are in vague for identification of alcohol and illicit drugs. Definite interest exist in many European countries for introducing evidential breath alcohol instrument as replacement for blood alcohol analysis.
