Abstract

The problem of the parked car can only be solved if the relationship between the physical planning and the social went is acknowledged. The interaction between traffic and transport and the functioning of the town centre should lead to an equilibrium. The accessibility and the mobility must not be considered if all car drivers are the shoppers in the centre. All transport modes play their role. A limiting condition is the absorption capacity of the centre. The coordination between the different authorities must be better and more consequently.
