Abstract
Basic data on transport and related trends in European countries, Canada and the United States of America are provided for 1976 and 1977, and the base period 1970.The scope of the statistics comprises the rail, road and inland waterway sectors, container transport, seaports, pipelines and international goods transport. In the road sector data are also given on expenditure on roads and consumption of fuel by road motor vehicles.
