Abstract

The work done about anti-collision (ac) radars is critically reviewed in all its main aspects: technical, technological and ergonomic. Special emphasis is given to the work done by project V 1002-SMILER inside the DRIVE program. Finally, some proposals are made for future solutions, with special care to: low cost and integration with other car facilities.
