Abstract

In 1976 a general transportation and traffic research project was carried out in Apeldoorn. The project resulted in a large scale transportation study of which the design, the analysis and the results are discussed. At the basis of the transportation model lies a detailed subdivision of the trips into five trip purposes. For each trip purpose a number of specific models has been developed.
