Abstract

Accident analysis is an important tool for automobile engineers to evaluate the behaviour of vehicle components which are built for minimizing accident consequences. The knowledge about the accidents sequence, the physics of impact, velocity variation and acceleration are important parameters for analyzing an accident. The computer programs CRASH an SMAC were tested and the results are presented.
