Abstract

A number of data analysis technique have been developed in the aerospace field to assist in the solution of shock and vibration problems. The potential value of several of these techniques to aid in the solution of crash safety problems is discussed. Each technique is illustrated by application to acceleration measurements from passenger vehicle crash test.
