Abstract

In the development of a new vehicle numerous experimental tests have to be carried out to ensure acceptable performance in all respects, and this requires the production of many expensive prototype vehicles. Computer systems were therefore developed which simulate the various safety performance requirements. This paper elaborates on the various simulation models which have been developed.
