Abstract

Finite element analysis post-processor animation is a simple, easy to use tool in the visualization of occupant motion in crash simulation where finite element modelling is used. Based on a simple upper torso model, interpolated motion of a belt restrained occupant subjected to a 10g acceleration is animated.
