Abstract

A brief state of the art on roller comparted concrete (RCC) is presented. It is not slipformed as conventional concrete pavement, but compacted by rollers similar to the construction of butiminous pavements. RCC has a low moisture content and a low water /cement ratio, beneficial for the strength of the concrete.
