Abstract

Speeding has been identified as a major cause of road trauma. Efforts in Australia and elsewhere to reduce the incidence of motorists speeding have not proven to be successful or have been limited in some way to excessive speeders or to limited section of any given road. The study reported in this volume attempts to apply sound behavioural science theory to understanding "intention" to speed or not speed. (A)
