Abstract

This report is designed to help in using of multiple sources of Global Positioning System (GPS) data to understand travel behavior and activity. The guidelines are intended to provide a jump-start for processing GPS data for travel behavior purposes and provide key information elements that practitioners should consider when using GPS data. NCHRP Report 775, Volume I (http://www.trb.org/Main/Blurbs/170873.aspx) describes the research process that was used to develop the guidelines. (Author/publisher)
