Abstract

This paper describes the outline of ETC payment system architecture furnished by ISO TC204 WG5 Committee of Japan. The description of the architecture is based on OO method. The state of affairs of Japanese toll roads and their background are described first, followed by the developing procedure of architecture. Basic input to architecture development work and the output of the work such as the Use-case Diagram, Class Diagram and Interaction Diagram are also described. The procedure taken is a bottom-up approach. Service items of ETC payment are collected from road operators. Output of the work is done based on these collected services. (A*)
