Abstract
The author briefly discusses each of the following as anecdotal evidence in the argument for libraries: Librarians deliver needed information quickly; Librarians save organizations time and money; Libraries ensure smart use of taxpayers' money; Library services add depth and value to research;and There are one-of-a-kind resources in transportation libraries.
