Abstract
The report considers some factors in the man-machine combination. It stresses the faulty design of the driver seat in connection with driver eye level and forward visibility. Doorlocks and safety belts are also mentioned. The report rejects tinted glass as a means against glare. Traffic pacing improves the capacity and decreases the number of accidents. Further subjects include canalisation, edge-lining, reversible lane operation and one-way streets.
