Abstract

Forty-one cities/regions represented by 54 organisations in 13 countries took part in the Citizens' Network Benchmarking Initiative. Common indicators were assessed using 39 questions and 6 working groups were set up. The Survey Working Group provided questionnaires to citizens in Bucharest, Budapest, Cambridgeshire, Helsinki and Nottingham, with Ile de France and Brussels involved as observers. The theoretical framework and design of the survey are outlined. For the covering abstract see ITRD E124693.
