This report presents the results of that assessment by the Transportations Systems Center (TSC). The study identifies and recommends suitable remedial actions and reflects the present state of transportation fire safety efforts. Emphasis has been placed on Federal Government efforts', and particularly those by the Department of Transportation (DOT)
