Abstract

Reviewed are guidelines included in the manual of environmental appraisal for evaluating pedestrian impacts resulting from new road schemes.Described are the difficulties in defining amenity and describes a research study of pedestrians perceptions of traffic related environmental traffic conditions to separate locations in one town and reported is on the findings of the study.
