Abstract

The primary focus of this report is a program cost/benefits for the last 5 years (1975-1979). The analysis of how States utilized grant funds begins with an overview of all programs areas and then concentrates on the 9 program areas which utilized 90-95% of the funds made available. These 9 program areas are: Planning and and administration; Driver education; Driver licencing: Alcohol safety; Traffic records; Emergency Medical Services; Police traffic services, and school bus safety.
