Abstract

Traffic accidents are a frequent cause of traumatic head injuries resulting in brain damage. Victims are found in all age groups, but mainly among young male adults. The question is in how far they are fit to drive after their recovery. Neurophysiological tests show sometimes deficits which can be compensated in driving by experience.
