On asymptotic simultaneous confidence regions for regression planes in a Poisson model and comparisons with corresponding exact regions for a normal regression model with an application to some road accident data.

Abstract

A regression model where the random variables are Poisson distributed with a mean value, which is a linear combination of certain parameters is considered. A method for obtaining approximate simultaneous confidence regions is discussed. The method applies to experimental data regarding road traffic.
