The interest in recycling of bituminous pavement material has increased during the last few years. The purpose with this work is to produce a practical mix design method when recycling warm aspahlt material. A process has been presented for producing of mixing recipe. The amount of new and old aggregate material and also of new bitumen and/or rejuvenation material is calculated. A flexible function-based mix design method has been produced for examination of the suitability of an asphalt material for a particular road type. The method is based on a competitive study of alternative mixes, eg recycled and conventional mix. When comparing different mixes it is the range of application (road class and region) (road class and region) which decides how the comparative tests shall be planned. (A)
