Abstract

Atmospheric concentrations of CO, CO2 and NO were measured at three sites in West London. Data obtained show that the pollutants measured at the remote sites were principally produced by the traffic in the major road and that their concentration fell with increasing distance from the road, to about 30% of the kerbside level at 50 m.
