Abstract
The Analysis of Truck Traffic: Air pollution, Cargo and Kilometrage (ATTACK) model is a computer simulation model for commercial vehicles. This model is the successor of the GEBAK-G model, but differs from GEBAK-G in respect of methodology and modelling technique. With the ATTACK computer model forecasts can be made on volume and composition of commercial vehicles, the yearly kilometrage, the fuel consumption by fuel type, exhaust fumes, and air pollution. The ATTACK model also gives the possibility to determine directly or indirectly how the so-called "green" tracks can decrease the environmental pollution by road transport.
