Abstract
In the theoretical part the two-fold dimension of the attention, the selectivity-dimension and the intensity-dimension, is emphasized. In an experimental study to the influence of alcohol on different attention tasks, no direct influence could be proved with B.A.C.'s of an average of 0.5%. The influence of alcohol on the attention comes through in disturbed visual and motorical motions of coordination, which seem to begin at a B.A.C. of 0.5%.
