Abstract

The theoretical and statistical problems of attitude measurement in safety are fairly well-known and can be handled. Several techniques have been shown not to be workable in their present form for changing driver attitudes or behaviour. There are a number of techniques currently being tried for attitude modification in traffic safety. What is yet needed are effective group techniques that can be applied en masse to the problem of problem drivers.
