Abstract
It has been established by the police force in Darmstadt that the initial improvement in driver behaviour which had been attributed to the new traffic regulations is no longer apparent. Reference is made to risky behaviour non-use of direction indicators, driving too close to the vehicle ahead, driving on side lights, and bad lane discipline on motorways.
