Abstract

Human consequences of traffic accidents for victims and their family are explored in order to educate the public about the seriousness of the problem. Seven seriously injured victims of traffic accidents were interviewed to elicit data on long-term personal and social consequences. Four victim interviews are described in detail, and a brief examination of the other three interviews is provided.
