Abstract
There are still cars on the market-without the advantages of an electronic ignition system, but during the last years it can be said that the application of electronic systems in cars has been made much progress. The future is nov open for self diagnostic systems and on-board navigation. Systems with compact discs and on-board computer systems for driver information are discussed briefly.
