Abstract
The Dutch Company of Vehicle Insurers advises their members not to change their insurance conditions regarding the use and non-use of safety belts and crash helmets. In cases of legal responsibility the norm must be handled with carefulness if drivers by not wearing safety belts or crash helmets have increased their damage demonstrable. Only in particular cases a decrease of the duty for indemnity can be assumed.
