Abstract

The Danish Traffic Information Centre, TIC collects, assesses and distributes traffic information using the TIC system TrafikMan. To save time and avoid human errors TIC has built systems that enable automatic transfer of data from external systems into TrafikMan. A pilot has been implemented for the 112 emergency alarm system of the Copenhagen area and is now expanded to cover the whole country. A system for road authorities to enter and transfer road work information is gradually implemented with all municipalities. More examples, the corporations, the systems, the procedures and the experiences are described. For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
