Abstract

This paper describes the concept of deploying a fleet of automated or electric vehicles as a public transport system based on individual vehicles. The vehicles would use dedicated road tracks, more or less protected from the intrusion of other vehicles. The dedicated roads would eventually become available to private vehicles that were properly equipped.
