Abstract

An automatic driving system capable of controlling a motor vehicle along a guidance cable was developed. Fabricated with fully electrical components, the equipment has a simple and reliable structure and could be made at a low cost. The automatic steering system and speed and brake control system are described. This system is going to be used for driverless tests of automobiles, and it is also expected to be applied to the dual mode system.
