Abstract

Total benefits and expenditures associated with various restraint systems which are candidates for wide spread vehicle installation during 1975 to 1985 are evaluated. Four restraint systems were considered: the lap belt; the present three-point lap torso system and the air cushion restraint system; with and without the use of lap belts.
