Abstract
Traffic accidents may occur in scattered areas, but often also tend to centre at specific spots. Measures to improve traffic safety at such black spots can be devised by means of a method described in the existing manual "Approach to concentrations of traffic accidents" (AVOC). The effect of a great number of measures that were carried out has been examined in before and after studies, the results of which are conveniently arranged in this loose-leaf file.
