Abstract
By the installation or construction of speed limiting provisions the accessibility of town centres and residential areas can be endangered for freight transport and buses. Problems can arise also for emergency vehicles, fire-engines, dustbin lorries etc. The other way around public transport can be an obstacle for the desired measures. It in particular a question how these vehicles behave in bends and what the layout of the bends should be for such vehicles.
