Abstract

Description of a heavy type of safety fence made up of elements of prestressed concrete, resting with pedestals upon the groud, and into which a steel girder si bolted. Three collision experiments are described, in which a passenger car and buses with dummy drivers hit the fence at 30‹. Details of tests and measurements, e.g. deceleration and stresses, are given, and damages shown.
