Abstract

The psychology of safe behaviour is no more and no less than the psychology of human behaviour in general. Thus, people do not change character when they get behind the wheel of a car. Rather their flaws and quirks become more manifest or significant when reflected in the behaviour of a ton or two of steel moving in an irregular pattern at X miles per hour. As a matter of fact, educational programming should include a properly balanced variety of approaches, rather than rely on just one or two techniques.
