Abstract

Aluminium-oxygen/air batteries of the present state of development can deliver high power over the nominal capacity at fairly good densities. For feasible applications the rapid mechanical rechargeability, the possibility of activation and deactivation, the storing without self discharge and maintenance are advantages converse to secondary cells and make the system very attractive for use in electric vehicles.
