Abstract

The use of Bayesian techniques in analyzing highway accident data is discussed with specific reference to the area of the over-involvement drinking drivers in accidents. The use of these techniques in formulating accident-causation models is considered, and the requirements imposed by these techniques on data collection process are examined.
