Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2118 includes nine papers that explore a voluntary program to reduce car use, actual and perceived car dependence, response to paid parking at a regional shopping center, impacts of residential off-street parking, carpool formation and use, social network and dwelling characteristics that influence ridesharing behavior of seniors, transportation demand management benchmark, and travel demand management strategies.
