Abstract

3 Research recommendations that evolved from the conference are discussed. The first concerned data collection for travel demand research, the second concerned development of travel demand models, with consideration given to both short-range and long-range objectives, and the third concerned the dissemination of information on both current and future models. Several specific areas of recommended research are summarized.
