Abstract

A prototype of an integrated system for behaviour assessment was tested in a simulated environment. Deviations from normative behaviour led to feedback and tutoring messages of the system that were tested both in the visual and the auditory modality. During the study driving parameters, mental load indicators and subjective rating of acceptance were collected. Two groups of drivers of different capabilities were tested, elderly and relatively young drivers. The outcomes of the study are discussed and conclusions are drawn.
