Abstract
This paper deals with a new procedure Galled "Trial bydeclaration" for traffic citations involving ordinary mo-ving, parking, equipment, registration and licensing vio-lations. At such trial, the officer's testimony will bepresented by written declaration rather than in person. Adistrict attorney need not to be present. Upon the defen-dant's request his case is set for trial by declarationapproximately three weeks following his first appearance.
