Abstract
The paper presents the results of a study of the development of consumers' expenditure on travel.Expenditures for different types of trips are calculated in terms of specific elements of cost (public transport fares, fuel prices, etc.). A procedure has been developed to estimate the cost to travellers of changes in one or more of the cost elements or in their travel patterns.
