Abstract

The expected effects of measures taken by the authorities to reduce the growth of car mobility are considered: the instruments which will be utilised to achieve this will probably be less effective than was expected. On the other hand car mobility will increase more strongly because the population is growing more quickly than was forecast some years ago. The result is that the growth of car mobility will hardly be restricted at all.
